Steps to Make Your Own Sustainable Terrarium Using Tiny Plants
The general idea is to create a plant that is going to stand the test of time.
Step 1
Get the plants you would like to use. Make sure they’re small plants. They need to be small plants, because they’ll need to source nutrients, grow, and could become bigger than the bottle you plan to use. So after getting these little plants, make sure they would fit the bottle you have in mind to use. Then keep the plants in a place on their own.
Step 2
Get the bottle. Make sure you make use of a bottle that you can put a cork to. Don't just go and take any type of bottle. That wouldn't work at all. That would just make you waste the entire plant. So get a small bottle, make sure it matches the plant you would like to use, and then get the cork or cover of the bottle. Keep these on another side.
Step 3
Organize or arrange the place where you would like to plant these beautiful tiny plants that could last for decades to come. These terrarium plants will make the entire place so beautiful. Well, you could do that in time. But for right now, let's learn how to make a single one first. When you want to make the remaining, you can use the same process.
So after you've got the place all cleaned up, you should put the succulents and cacti inside the bottle and then put a little bit of pea soil at the edge. Make sure the plants are in between the soil as you cork them together with the bottle. At this point, you can now take the bottle with your plants inside and keep them in that spot that you just cleaned up. Sit back and watch your plants thrive for years. Be sure to water and feed the plants about once a month, and mist them on occasion if they look dry too.
Enjoy watching your beautiful terrarium.
